Luray Caverns in Virginia

Image
Hey guys! When we went to Virginia,  we also went to Luray Caverns! It is a very nice and beautiful place! In the caverns there are stalagmites and stalactites that sparkle blindingly. Did you know that all of those stalagmites and stalactites were formed by the water dripping? Drip by drip by drip, for thousands and millions of years! The crystals are different colors, because the water drips from the roof of the caverns have different chemicals in them, causing them to be different colors. Some of them are gray, yellow, red, orange, white, or even green! My favorite shade is by far white. The color was so clean, and the way the crystal white shimmered would you in awe as well! As well as that, just next door there is an adorable little toy museum! It has both old toys, and modern toys! And right next for to that, there is a fascinating car museum with the original cars, not just fakes! It has very interesting fact cards written about every single car, including the horsepower,  year

Bake of the day! the finished product

Ok, not my best baking ''masterpiece''. I definitely could have done better. I put WAY to much salt. I also accidentally overbaked a little. Other than that though, it was pretty good! My brother, sister, and I liked them! But I could do better with a cake. (:   Bye, and goodnight!

Bake of the day! waiting for the cookies!!

Guys, so excited, cookies in the oven, in 8 mins I will try my creation. I am pretty proud of me and my sister, but for some reason my butter, vanilla extract and sugar looked like slop! It was probably because I accidentally added WAY to much vanilla, though. it all came together in the end though!! We made these JUMBO SIZED, so instead of 18 cookies (we only did HALF of everything), we made only 9!! Don't know how THAT happened. Again, so excited to try these and hope that they taste good! OMG they are DONE! Bye! I will tell if they taste good!       photos below       👇👇

Bake of day!

Hello friends! I'm super excited because right now me and my sister are going to making chocolate chip cookies! My mom us make them ourselves. This is probably going to be the first time I baked something by myself. I'm going to call this the bake of the day. I am putting the link to the recipe below and will show you the  finished product when I'm done!  click here for recipe 🍪

Dark Hallow Falls in Shenandoah National Park

Image
Hey guys! If you are looking for a kid friendly hike in the DC area or want to go exploring in Virginia, then I have a place that is perfect. A few weeks ago me and my family went to Virginia and went hiking in Shenandoah National park! We went to several trails, but the one that made me most happy was the Dark Hallow Falls trail. I have a four year old brother who climbed the trail with us and he also thought it was fun, too! Once we reached the destination, we couldn't contain our awe as we witnessed the beauty of the 70 foot waterfall. Also, if you like climbing rocks, then you will have tons of fun climbing the rocks that surround the waterfall. The climb to the the parking lot is a bit tougher as it goes up, but completely worth it. So if you want to go on a family hike, I definitely advise to go to the Dark Hallow Falls trail in Shenandoah National park.
